TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PRICING 

All prices will be correct at the time of publishing. However these can be updated on a regular basis, sometimes in relation to the gold prices and other material costs. We always endeavour to control our prices which reflects a fair price. 

When purchasing from outside of the U.K, you may be responsible for extra charges for international payments or fluctuations in the exchange rate, this may alter the original price slightly. It is also the responsibility of the buyer to pay for taxes that the item may incur when sending outside of the U.K. Please contact or check your countries import duties before purchasing from outside of the U.K. 

DELIVERY

Orders purchased on the website or over the telephone will be processed the same day and sent out by secure mail the following day. We always send our products by either 'Royal Mail Special Delivery' or 'DHL', usually it is next day, but we always recommend up to 2-5 working days, incase of any problems that are outside of our control. 

In the case of bespoke items, you will be advised of an expected delivery date, some items may take longer to finish than others, or we may not have the right size or have to re make that particular order, in this case we always advise between 2-15 days delivery from placing an order. If your order is urgent, contact us and we can prioritise your order free of charge.  

RESIZING 

At Shem Hague we offer a life time warranty for resizing. As time goes on you might find that your size changes. If you want your rings re sized, you can contact us by email and arrange to send your piece of jewellery into us. This service is free of charge. The postage costs to send items to us will be the senders responsibility. We recommend you use fully insured and secure post. 

RETURNS + EXCHANGES

You will be entitled to either an exchange or credit note up to a very generous 50 days from purchase, and a full refund within 14 days from purchase. As long as the jewellery is intact and not damaged in anyway and in its original packaging.  

For bespoke items, commissions or custom pieces using clients own stones or metal, these cannot be refunded or exchanged. 

All eligible refunds will be offered back to the person by the original payment method, to adhere to fraud prevention measures. 

We are not responsible for postage costs back to us and will not refund these. 

We recommend you always use a reputable postage courier, with fully insured mail, as we will not accept any responsibility for goods sent to us that are lost or damage in transit. Please make sure that the item is insured up to the full retail value that you paid for it. 

If you are returning goods to us from outside of the U.K you will need to attach a customs declaration form stating ' RETURNED BRITISH GOODS' in order to ensure no additional customs fees are charged whilst being returned back into the U.K to us. If the item is incorrectly marked with this information any customs charges will be at the customers expense and not our own. This will also delay your refund or exchange.

Design Rights and Copyrights remain the sole property of Shem Hague. Your use of this website and its contents grants no rights to you in relation to any copyright, designs, trademarks and all other intellectual property and material rights relating to its content. Any reproduction or redistribution of the aforementioned content is prohibited and could result in civil and criminal penalties. 

ONLINE SECURITY

We do not store financial information like credit or debit card numbers on this site. All transactions are handled by a secure online independent payment service provider. We accept payment online by Visa, MasterCard, Maestro or Amex via the secure payment provider, payment can also be made using Paypal.
